Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at aci.info@anglingcoachinginitiative.co.uk if you cannot find an answer to your question or join our facebook page and ask a question there.

Dates for our coaching session can be found under the EVENTS CALENDAR section of the website

Please arrive promptly for 8:45 where an initial safety briefing will be run and any information for the day will be discussed (we aim to only run one of these for efficiency so will need to wait for everyone to arrive). We aim to have you fishing by 10am and the final whistle goes at 14:00

We have a number of local lakes that are donated for our use. Please check the EVENTS CALENDAR which details the lake that will be used for each event. The VENUES section of the website will then provide more information on the lakes location

We are a "not for profit" initiative and try to keep costs as low as possible. The fee is £15 per participant per session and cover all bait and use of all equipment and tackle.

We will provide the essential equipment required to allow you to fish. What we do ask is that you bring:

  1. A chair to sit on
  2. Appropriate clothing for the weather
  3. Appropriate footwear
  4. Any food or drink
  5. Antiseptic hand gel
  6. Sun cream
  7. Cap / hat
  8. Sunglasses
  9. EA Rod license for those over 12 (see under useful links)
  10. Due to risk of disease transmission such as KHV please do not bring any keep-nets or landng nets. Also clean and dry boots - remove all damp mud.
