We plan to start accepting bookings from the 8th April 2026
We'd be pleased to give you all the help we can, there are places available at many of our events over the season.
A parent/guardian/grandparent is also welcome to fish if you wish, also £17 per event.
To make a booking, please follow the steps below:
1. Review the "Events calender" section of the website which details the dates of all sessions and the venue that the session is being held
2. Check the "Venues" section of the website to provide more detail about the location of the session.
3. We are now using the Angling Trust Event Marketplace - Swimbooker to manage our bookings.
Visit the Events calender webpage and click on the link on the session(s) you wish to book and make your payment(s).
Currently we are only accepting bookings for the first four sessions. More will be become available.
STEPS in Swimbooker
Click on the link for the preferred date(s).
Note : Tickets are only for fishing participants. Non fishing parents/carers do not need to purchase tickets.
Note : if the session is full then no tickets will be available
However; more coaches are likely to add their names to the events nearer the dates, so more places MAY become available. Check back into the Events Calendar for updates on availability.
Note : certain fields are mandatory and will need to be completed before proceeding e.g. DOB
Once the payment has been accepted you will receive an email confirming your place on the event you have selected.
You will also receive an email reminding you of the event in the week prior to the event date
The "About Us" and the "Overview" sections tell you about who we are and what we do, timing of coaching days etc.
On the day go to the post code on the Venue map for your booking, the venue will be nearby with an ACI sign placed outside the entrance.
5. EA Rod Licences
Temporary rod licences are issued for all of ACI’s main coaching days at no charge.
If though you go fishing outside or coaching days you will need an EA
rod licence
Children under 12 however don’t need a licence.
Licences for children aged between 12 and 16 are required but are free and can only be applied for online. Make sure you connect to the www.gov website as there are a few sites that come up on a search engine that make an extra charge for getting your rod licence
