Terms & Conditions

Bookings 

When a booking is made it is on the understanding that you have fully read and accepted our terms and conditions of business. All bookings will be confirmed via Email. Parental consent forms must be completed for each junior whether accompanied by an adult/guardian or not. It is a clear booking condition that you fully accept the hazards involved in the fishing environment and your engagement with potentially dangerous activities.

Cancellations 

We fish in all weathers except torrential rain and or thunder and lightening. If Angling Coaching Initiative decides to cancel a coaching session due to  conditions beyond their control, for example high winds making casting dangerous, heavy rainfall making banks/swims dangerous or inadequate volunteer coaches to run the session then an alternate date will be offered. If a client wishes to cancel/reschedule a booking, a minimum of 7 days notice must be given in writing i.e email to prevent Angling Coaching Initiative to incurring  unrecoverable costs. 

Liability 

Angling Coaching Initiative cannot be held liable for any conditions out of our reasonable control.

The information on this website is reviewed and kept up to date on a regular basis, however, some changes may occur. No liability can be accepted for any errors, omissions or deletions. Angling Coaching Initiative or their volunteer coaches working in conjunction with us shall not be liable for any illness, personal injury or death caused out with our control or by not adhering or listening to clear safety briefings and procedures. However this does not apply to any negligence on the behalf of Angling Coaching Initiative 

INSURANCE

• Both Chris and Graham as Level 2 coaches have Angling Trust cover for £10M Public Liability, £10M Indemnity Insurance.
• Both Kelvedon District Angling Association and Maldon Angling Society are members of Angling Trust with the same levels of cover
• Angling Coaching Initiative is also an Angling Trust member with the same levels of cover.
• Volunteer Assistants are covered by the above but additionally all Volunteer Assistants and Coach’s will be automatically enrolled into Angling Coaching Initiative

Health & Safety 

Your child's safety and that of all other members of the party is always our primary concern.

If a junior does not adhere to the safety instructions given or fails to follow instruction on the bank putting themselves or others at risk they will be asked to return to a safe area and you will be contacted to collect your child. The contract will be terminated and no refund will be applicable in these circumstances.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for the planned sessions covering that year and ending in Soptember.

Duty of Care and safety

All juniors will be given a full health and safety briefing at the start of each session as part of our duty of care, if you do not understand any aspect then please, you must, ask us to repeat it. Juniors or their parent/guardian MUST highlight any pre-existing medical condition and if need be discuss any medication that may be required in case of emergency.  Customers maybe be asked to compete a liability release form if a condition is present. Failure to not declare a medical condition will be considered negligent and we will not take responsibility should an incident arise.

Photography

All photography is property and copyright of Angling Coaching Initiative. Any of our images displayed online must be credited to Angling Coaching Initiative. Images may not be sold on to any third party for hire or for publication. Angling Coaching  Initiative reserve the right to use and display all photography on our website, social media platforms and other distributed advertising materials. If you do not wish to have images of yourself or your child then we would ask this to be mentioned upon booking otherwise these terms apply.
